Receipts

You can customize various elements of receipts sent after a successful checkout to be different for purchases and donations. In the event that a user makes both a purchase and a donation in the same transaction, two receipts will be sent, each accounting for the details pertaining to the donation or the purchase. The receipts will also refer to each other so that the donor/purchaser will be expecting the delivery of both receipts:

  1. Purchase Receipts: Each buyer will receive an itemized order confirmation for their successfully processed transaction. Customize the receipt according to your site information:
    • “From” name: The name buyers will see in their inbox when receipt is received (e.g., Store Order Confirmation).
    • “From” email: The email address associated with your store (e.g., shop@paupress.com).
    • Who will receive notifications: The email addresses (multiple separated by commas) provided here will receive notification of the purchase.
    • Default subject: The subject line buyers will see in their inbox.
    • Receipt header: The default text within the email message (e.g., Thank you for your purchase!”); appears above transaction details.
    • Receipt footer: The default text within the email message (e.g., Please be sure to read our store policies regarding returns.”); appears below transaction details.
  2. Donation Receipts: Each donor will receive a customized and itemized confirmation for their successfully processed transaction. Customize the receipt according to your organization information:
    • “From” name: The name buyers will see in their inbox when receipt is received (e.g., Donation Confirmation).
    • “From” email: The email address associated with your store (e.g., donations@paupress.com).
    • Who will receive notifications: The email addresses (multiple separated by commas) provided here will receive notification of the donation.
    • Default subject: The subject line buyers will see in their inbox.
    • Receipt header: The default text within the email message (e.g., Thank you for your donation!”); appears above transaction details.
    • Receipt footer: The default text within the email message (e.g., Please see our FAQs regarding donations and tax deductions.”); appears below transaction details.
