CONSULTING

Aligning your mission with the means to execute it.

We start by understanding how your organization actually works before we talk about software. Sometimes that leads to Presspoint. Sometimes it leads somewhere else. Either way, you leave with a clear picture — and a path forward that makes sense for you.

How we think about it

Mission first. Software second.

Most technology problems turn out to be process problems in disguise. We help you see the full picture before deciding what to fix.

We start by understanding what your organization actually does — not by fitting you into a template. Before we talk about software, we talk about mission, process, and where things are breaking down.

Sometimes a client comes to us with what looks like a small problem — a form that isn't working, a report that's hard to run. Pulling one thread usually uncovers others. Our job is to help you see the full picture before deciding what to fix first.

We use Presspoint when it's the right tool. When it isn't, we'll tell you — and we've helped clients find the right solution elsewhere too.

Examples of the work

From four platforms to one

The situation

A course provider came to us wanting help with an application form. As we dug in, the real problem emerged: four separate platforms managing acquisition, tuition, course delivery, and follow-up — with constant imports and duplicate data entry.

What we did

We helped them map how they wanted the system to work, then migrated everything into a single Presspoint instance.

The result

Staff were able to focus on building new courses and engaging participants — instead of chasing data across systems.

Built to prove a concept — and acquired

The situation

A startup wanted to sell unused event space across a partner network. They understood the macro complexity and needed help working through the details before building anything.

What we did

We mapped their program pathways and identified where modular data sets could handle vendor-specific requirements while keeping the customer experience consistent. We built a fully functional system quickly in Presspoint.

The result

The client demonstrated a working concept to partners seeking funding. One partner bought the concept outright and rolled it out across a national network.

How it works

1

Discovery

We start with a conversation about your organization — what it does, how it operates, and where things aren't working. No agenda, no pitch. Just questions.

2

Mapping

We diagram how you want your system to work, identify where the threads lead, and figure out what needs to change — and in what order.

3

A plan that fits

We put together an engagement scoped to your situation and your budget. That might be a single strategy session, a defined project, or ongoing support — whatever makes sense.

4

Staying involved

We don't hand you a document and disappear. We stay engaged as things evolve — because organizations change, and the work changes with them.

Ways to work together

Every Presspoint hosting plan includes one hour of consulting each month — because your situation is always evolving. Beyond that, we scope engagements to fit what you actually need.

Strategy session

A focused conversation to work through a specific decision, problem, or question. Good for when you know something needs to change but aren't sure what.

Ongoing retainer

Regular support as your organization grows and your needs shift. Useful when there's always something evolving and you want a consistent partner on call.

Common questions

No. We work with organizations at any stage, whether or not Presspoint is part of the picture. If another solution turns out to be the right fit, we'll tell you — and we've helped connect clients to other groups when that's the case.
Separately from the platform, though every Presspoint hosting plan includes one hour of consulting per month. For larger engagements, we meet first to understand your needs and then put together a package that makes sense for your situation and budget. We don't lead with a rate card.
It varies. Some clients need a single focused session to untangle a specific problem. Others bring us in for a defined project with a clear scope. Others want ongoing support as things evolve. We scope based on what you actually need.
That's the most common starting point. A discovery call is low-commitment — we ask questions, you describe what's happening, and together we figure out whether and how we can help. No obligation after that.
Yes, and your hosting plan already includes an hour a month. If you're hitting something bigger than that covers, we can scope an engagement on top of your plan.

Let's figure out what you're actually dealing with.

No pitch, no package to sell you before we've talked. Just a conversation about your organization and where things stand.
