Relationships

Relationships allow you to map the connections between users in your database as well as custom links between your users and your content stored in WordPress. Relationships are searchable and you can even allow related users to edit other user accounts in the system so that the primary contact of a company record can update the public information you are presenting on your site.

User – to – User Relationships: You can build relationships between Individuals and Organizations, Individuals and Individuals as well as Organizations to Organizations. When doing so, you can set primary relationships, typify the relationships, set privileges and provide start and end dates and the resulting action builds a receipt for both parties that is “proof” of their relationships.

User – to – Content Relationships: If you are creating content that requires multiple authors or needs to be shared amongst several entities (eg. speakers at an event), you can set multiple users and then set permissions accordingly.
